The Jewish Museum is situated in the centre of Worms. Only a few steps away from the museum is the synagogue with its medieval mikvah (ritual bath). The nearby narrow streets of the city centre and the city wall with the Rashi Gate and the Judengasse (Jews’ Alley) are well worth seeing.
If you arrive by car via the A 61 Koblenz-Speyer, leave this motorway at the exit Worms and take the B 47 to the centre of the city (Worms-Zentrum).
If you arrive via the A 67 Frankfurt-Mannheim, leave this motorway at the exit Lorsch, then take the A 47 to Worms.
There are plenty of parking facilities (both outdoor and underground car parks) very close to the museum.
For those who arrive by train, Worms main station is in the city centre. From here, you can reach the museum on foot in about 12 minutes. Alternatively, a bus from the station (number 401, 402, 408, or 409) will take you very close to the museum. Get off at the bus stop Untere Kämmererstraße.
